Family Faith FormationKeep looking for God moments in your life.

"Attend" weekend Mass through Chalice of Salvation on Channel 22 each Sunday morning (check local listing) or through Live/Recorded Mass from St. Agnes in Dalton to keep the Grace of Sunday Mass in your life today and throughout the week:

Consider also supplementing the Mass with Fr. Richard's weekend homily:

We don't know what the Faith Formation Program will look like in the Fall at this point, but rest assure that discussions are happening and we'll keep you posted as plans are being made. The fact does remain, however, that Faith Formation must ultimately be a part of the home, a part of life. To that end we want to support you in that endeavor and grow ourselves along the way!

In the coming weeks I'll send out Challenges for your family to consider. Yes, they are challenges, and they'll take an act of will to make changes to your life, but make sure these practices don't cause undue stress.

Registered Faith Formation Families who "report in" by response to this email, a call to the Faith Formation voicemail (413-268-4045) or by a quick Survey Monkey response at the link below will be entered into a raffle for a great family prize (to be announced when more is known - family movie night, dinner out, other experiences - but, it will be something fun and family-oriented. One entry per family, per challenge.

Survey Monkey for reporting:

CHALLENGE AS OF 5/17/2020:

Try a Faith Formation practice that is new to your family. Examples include: "Attend" Mass together, talk about the Gospel/other readings, add a morning prayer, add an evening prayer, purposefully look for God in the world around you, add scripture reading to your day, sit in quiet meditation, connect to your faith by listening to Christian music, or any other faith forming practice that works well for your family. Big or small - a step closer to God is a step in a great direction!

OUR FATHEROur Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

HAIL MARY: Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

GLORY BEGlory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.

GOOD MORNING PRAYER: Good morning God. You're ushering in another day, untouched and freshly new. So, here I am to ask you God if you'll renew me too. Forgive the many errors that I made yesterday and let me try again dear God to walk closer in thy way. For Father, I am well aware I can't make it on my own. So, take my hand and hold it tight, for I can't walk alone.  Amen

GOOD NIGHT PRAYER: Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray thee Lord my soul to keep. Thy love go with me all the night and wake me with the morning light. Amen
